Shruthi Says She Likes Telugu

It is a known fact that Tamilians love their language and are not ashamed to talk in their mother tongue even on foreign soil. In fact, there is a joke that two Telugu people try to polish their English language skills by speaking in English. But
Shruti Haasan says she loves Telugu language.  Shruti says she learnt Telugu pretty early due to her father Kamal Haasan. She confesses she understands the language completely, but cannot write it.  On the other hand, Shruti Haasan is well-versed in Tamil. Apparently, she can even understand and recite the poems of Subramanya Bharathi.  Ever since united Andhra Pradesh broke up from the Madras state, Telugu people are wary of Tamilians. But Shruti might be saying she likes Telugu as she is the top actress in Tollywood today. Honestly, she might like the language too. But we will never know.  In the past, Jayalalitha, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan were very close to the Telugu film industry and the Telugu audiences too have loved them as their own.  Let’s not try to draw wrong conclusions from her statement and simply appreciate the fact that Shruti Haasan likes Telugu.
