Hyderabad: The sudden demise of music director Chakri is unbelievable says director N Shankar. He said that Chakri’s death was a huge loss to contemporary Telugu industry.
Having come from a remote place, he struggled his way to the top said Shankar and lauded him as a hard-working musician who provided hit music to many Tollywood films.
He also expressed his deep sorrow that he never heard such sad and shocking news in his entire life.
Shankar also revealed that apart from composing music, Chakri was also actively involved with lot of charities. Shankar also revealed that Chakri loved his friends and would do anything for them.
Shankar said that Chakri’s music in Jai Bolo Telangana got him lots of love and affection even from ordinary people.
Chakri who passed away in sleep due to cardiac arrest composed music for 85 films and his last release was Erra Bassu. His other film Rey is yet to release.
His combination with Puri Jagannadh was a huge hit and he provided music for films like Idiot, Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi, Chakram among others.
