Unexpected Films for Sankranthi

Unexpected Films for Sankranthi

Mukundha, I, Temper, Gopala Gopala, Pataas, Pawan Kalyan,
Sankranthi Season is the biggest season in the year for Telugu film industry. Films that release during this season usually collect more than their worth. Averages have turned in to hits in the past just because of the season advantage. So there is a heavy competition for Sankranthi release slots.
But every year 2 Top heroes plan their releases for Sankranthi leaving no space for other films. The same should be happening the coming Sankranthi as NTR's Temper and Venkatesh-Pawan Kalyan's Multistarer, Gopala Gopala were planned for Sankranthi release. However Temper seem to be out of the race for various reasons and the postponement has created a gap for smaller heroes. Varun Tej's debut movie, Mukundha and Kalyan Ram's Pataas are now planning for Sankranthi. Mukundha will release on January 9th if Shankar - Vikram's I is not releasing then. If I releases for January 9th, then Mukundha will release for Christmas as planned. Pataas is more or less confirmed for January 15th and the movie shooting is also complete. Gopala Gopala is running on tight schedules for January 14th release but the makers are confident on making it by then.

Was Vijay Deverakonda Offered Rs 48 Crore By A Top Banner? Here's What We Know

Some time ago, it was reported, a top Bollywood production banner had offered Vijay Deverakonda around Rs 48 crore for a pan-India movie and this created a great deal of buzz among cinemagoers. Now, it seems the rumor is incorrect. According to Cinejosh, 'Rowdy' charges around Rs 8 crore for a Telugu movie, which many feels is justified, given his popularity. As the actor has no market 'Up North', he is likely to get merely Rs 3 crore more than his usual remuneration, if he does a straight Hindi film. Either way, his total 'package' will not exceed Rs 15 crore under normal circumstances. With his remuneration in the spotlight, Tollywood's favorite 'Comrade' is gearing up for the release of the eagerly awaited World Famous Lover. The film, touted to be a romantic-drama, features the 30-year-old in
