Samantha Excited About 100 Cr Success

For the first time, Samantha is enjoying the 100 Crore success in his career as the Vijay starrer 'Kathhi' where she played lead role has now grossed 100.7 Crores at worldwide box-office after a week after its release. Directed by talented AR Murugadoss, this flick deals with political issues farmers are facing in Tamilnadu.

"Super super special day.  Extremely happy for team Kaththi.  100 crores and counting. Thankyou to all of you who made it happen (sic)", tweeted Samantha, as trade analysts revealed that Kathhi amassed 100.7 Crores gross by Sunday after collecting 65.1 Cr in Tamilnadu alone, 20.2 crores in overseas and 15.4 cr in rest of India from its Tamil version. Though Samantha
debuted in Kollywood long back, this is her first commercial success. Earlier she thought of making it big with Anjaan but the Surya-Linguswamy venture failed miserably.

Telugu version of Kathhi is supposed to hit screens on November 21st according to reports. Samantha's glamour in a couple of songs like 'Selfie Pilla' is a major commercial highlight for the movie, while the story itself is a giant hero.
