It took quite some time for Akkineni Nagarjuna to make a foothold in the industry. Till he got films like Shiva and Allari Alludu, he struggled to make a mark.
However, he was always placed after Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna and could never make it to the top slot. Similarly, Naga Chaitanya too is considered a medium-range actor.
Chaitanya is not counted among the top six heroes even now. In fact, Chaitanya is not on par with actors like Nitin and Gopichand.
It remains to be seen how long it will take for Chaitanya to acquire star status. But there is a huge buzz regarding the debut of Akhil. Akkineni fans have been waiting for the debut of Akhil for a long time now.
They have high hopes on him and are hopeful that Akhil will enter stardom much sooner than his father and elder brother despite heavy competition among young heroes.
Many feel that his first few films will matter a lot and decide how his career shapes up in future. That’s the reason why Nagarjuna has been taking great care to launch his son on a big scale with proper planning.
